From what I read a while back they don’t sponsor any pros. Wheel sponsorship is much more of a thing now. They are still really spendy and can’t be convincingly re-branded as someone else’s product.
Plus old ass design.

I think catdrew is saying ‘relevant’ in terms of 2004 being when 24" or 650c were considered relevant in terms of giving some kind of speed advantage, in peepantscycling.

Old ass design to be sure, but the LWs/ADAs are still pretty fucking baller. LW has some pretty cool shit hovering around 1000g/set.

No
They are still the shit
Full composite wheels will always be better than spoked versions, another great wheel is the mavic ccu. Lightweight is like assos, they don’t sponsor pro teams because they don’t have to. There is nothing to prove, no wool to be pushed over eyes. The product speaks for itself.
