I sure as hell am going to throw a valve cap in my saddle bag now.
The fifty cent adapters work with pumps as well and are metal. That said I carry both on long rides usually.
Itās a cool little trick, but I think youād be better off throwing an actual valve adapter in your seatbag.
I usually try to keep a valve cap on packed spares
not just for this trick, but to avoid the ātube poked a hole in itself with the valve-nut thread-spikeā problem
Felt reeeeeeal stupid the first time this happened to me.

That was the first bike shop I ever went to in Seattle.
I almost always have issues with anything Bike Rumor writes; the supposition that doll houses were exclusively for girls prior to someone putting tools inside one is ignorant and sexist, and Iām not even remotely PC.
You had GI Joe Command Center, didnāt you?
No, but I did have Castle Grayskull (or at least my brother did).
Right.
Now have a kid and try to to go shop for something for that kid thatās not ridiculously gender oriented. Itās fucking nuts.

Oh goddammit. That whole thing just makes me uncomfortable. And the author is a friend of mine.
Built by a lady.
Possibly of interest to others here. Rapha is finally releasing a Pro Team gilet.
looks exactly the same as teh one assos has had out for 5 years
probably works the same too
*Costs more, is more epic.
oh man, you guys and your sexism accusations⦠I just thought that was really cool. Cool use of those pointless Pedal ID things. Dollhouses have been a-okay for dudes since Freamon on the Wire.
