Babby, It's Cold Outside

Yes. They’re cheap as dirt.

I can report that my hands were hot this morning. It was 32 degrees. I can imagine getting a larger size and fitting a wool liner or something would take most people into the 20s or even teens depending on their constitution.

I can only imagine that a custom group buy is a fantasy, but worth asking. Maybe we’d have to buy 10,000 pair or something?

Saw 12-packs on google focheap.

No. Good for coast winters, not interior winters. . Wore them on a 5 f day for about 45 minutes. It was terrible and I’m not a cold hands guy.Get bar mitts or ski gloves.

Emailed them asking if they do custom printing, or maybe offer some plain with no logo that we could then take to have printed elsewhere.

Me too!

Anybody try these TAF Radians RWG800? Reflective knuckles!

edit: oh shit - they offer custom printing!

Well, I ordered a pair so I’ll report back my findings.

these are still doing me pretty decently.

i get real cold hands and the 30-38 F temps + high humidity in portland have been rough this week. bring me back the boulder dry cold.
i just need to figure out some winter shoes though cuz my feet still haven’t warmed up from the ride i came back from hours ago.

Tempted to give these a try:

Froze my butt off on last night’s commute home. Time to upgrade my tights because my legs were cramping. Probably didn’t help that I forgot my shoe covers.

When it’s 20ºf, but not sloppy out, I ride in these with thick wool socks:

Real warm, so style.

Thinking it might be time to switch to flats and 5.10s for winter commuting.

Selene Yeager gave them two warm thumbs up recently.

ran out of contact juice and had to eye glasses yesterday
what is the 2016 trick for foggy glasses?
tried Cat Crap and toothpaste
neither worked

The only thing that keeps my lenses fog free is to continue riding nonstop. If I drop below a certain speed the bus explodes

will your insurance cover me running a redlight and getting hit?
thanks in advance

My glasses don’t fog up? They suck in the rain though.

I’m cheap and “tough” so instead of buying winter boots I bought these to go over my beat up cloth upper sneakers. Don’t mind the cold but hate having wet feet. xxxl was true to its 11-11.5 size claim. Haven’t had a wet day since they came but I’m stoked.

Also I ride flats and feetbelts all year round but they really can’t be beat for winter commuting

I’m also in needing-winter-gloves cru, thanks to Reynaud’s causing super painful numbness whenever it gets below like 40

Are the Ninja Ice jawnz decently windproof? we have pretty dry cold around here, rain/wetness isn’t an issue, it’s just the damned bitter cold that numbs my fingers out completely. If those aren’t my jam, any recommendations in windproof-way?

Re: glasses. I look over them when starting out from a stop light. Then, after about 200 feet, I push them back up.
