tarckeemoon’s seersucker suit is a close second, but that is a ridiculous deal. I agree with bonechilling, there is no better wheel for the money.
This is true. I defy anyone to find a better wheelset for less money. It doesn’t count if a friend gives it to you or cuts you a deal.
I will trade you a seersucker suit for them.
Throw in an Open Pro/Ultegra wheelset and you’ve got a deal!
Agreed.
I got a pair of Ultegra hubs laced to Mavic Open Pro CDs for $90 at our swap this past spring and I thought I was too hot to trot. Shit.
i found a nine shocks terror shirt at goodwill once.
I got mine for $150 on ebay and thought that was a good price.
bravo!
i always wonder HOW that kind of stuff ends up in thrift stores
like the two 1950s vintage shure 55 microphones (the kind you see elvis singing into a lot) i found for $8 each. they’d go for at least 150 on ebay, but im not selling.
A friend here just bought a vintage colnago and a local hand made bike (complete) for $50 each from a guy whose son had left them in the basement years ago. He just wanted to get rid of 'em and knew nothing about them.
Stuff probably ends up at thrift stores in similar ways.
Very, very jealous.

“This is Howard Cosell.”
Do you need a special preamp for these mics? I don’t know much about mic technology. My dad has a Blue.
todd lewis from the toadies always used a green bullet. i dig his vocal style. if you want the gritty rock n’ roll style, go with the green bullet. and I don’t think you need a special preamp with these type of mics.
I found nice Canton passive subwoofer at the thrift store for $10 a few years ago. Unfortunately I have no place to put it at the moment. No mics yet, but I keep hoping one of these days…
