Bah, confounded. Lockring threads are completely stripped. Yeah that’s the plan, once I get wheels/tires where I want them. EDIT: and I’m so chapped that I couldn’t finish last night, getting a chunk of bike work time all at once is rare for me. ---

No funny thing is I was trying to do this el cheapo and not care, but these NOS cranks happen to be perfect for what I want. The chainring likewise is an NOS downhill ring that happens to be the BCD and toothway I think I want. ---
