Finished relacing my $18 trek wheel to the Surly flip flop hub I’ve had in a drawer for years and now I have a nice set of wide rim-brake tubeless wheels for fixie shenanigans! I was really impressed at how nicely these built up. I kind of want to grab another set to hoard.

Is there any benefit to the new Surly having a dimpled chainstay for chainring clearance instead of a yoke? Or is that them cutting costs?

We also don’t know if Manute Bol or Mugsey Bogues had a regular amount of nipples. Maybe one of them had a reverse nipplectomy. You never know other people’s battles.
