Never had one as a kid, was always the kid on a adult sized mountain bike who never got into that stuff.
Now as an adult I want to do all the stuff I never did as a kid.
Good idea? Ya or nay?

Yay.
yay
do it, if you want a nice bike on the cheap, my friend is selling a super nice eastern jane w/ new forks and bars and shit for like, 100 bucks OBO. I’m not trying to like, sell you on it, just that its a nice bike that deserves a good home and its a hell of a deal.
Friend of mine sold his Haro F3 and with the proceeds had half of what he needed for a complete steamroller.
I know nothing about BMX bikes. is this good? $100 is roughly what I would spend although Im far far away from you so any savings are negating in shipping
This is a BMX I pulled from a dumpster, is it any good? Obviously, the fork has to be changed but it fits my 11-year old nephew pretty well and I like the rims.
There is a guy near me selling a pretty beat up looking Haro Master, are these things worth anything? It could be a fun project…here is a pic:
vintage BMX bikes are the shit. but generally i would stay away from anything with a 1pc crankset.
even though that master is awsome.
Yeah, the Master is dope, I wonder if he knows what he has? If he wants more than $100 I will take a pass. Can a 6 foot tall guy ride a BMX bike like the ones I have shown? I feel a bit scrunched on the dumpster one but that is likely because that damned fork is so fucked up, it bounces all over the place. I think it was a bum-bike before I found it…
apparently haro masters are pretty sought after. there’s a frame only going for $325 on ebay, and i’ve heard stories of them going for over a thousand.
Yeah, first thing I did when I saw the ad was check eBay. But, his other ads are all of beat up old Chevys and clearly, this bike has not been very well-looked after. We shall see, keep your fingers crossed…

http://www.harborcountrybike.com/Produc ... 47&click=2it’s a really really solid bike.
they’re fun to mess around on. just dont get a TOO cheap bmx bike.
i got a haro f1 and now just use it to cruise around school rather than to dick around on. my cranks already broke. i’ma use my free x2 as my dick around bike after i paint it up
Fuck yeah you need one, I have a nice bmx bike, which is deco’d right now, but that shit is always a really fun way to get hurt. or look really funny carrying a bunch of shit and being tall and then riding a tiny bike.
I was riding around on a brand new high-end Haro at work yesterday and it was a blast. I want to get one now, and get back into street riding.
They are so much fun. I love mine. I’ve ridden bmx for about 10 years, so take it from me that that Eastern even with shipping, would be a good deal. That haro master would probably be a decent purchase too - clean it up a little and pass it on to someone who would care for it.
Just building a wooden plank on some bricks and launching that shit is retardedly fun.
my old roommmate still has my old Federal i built up at trend bikes years ago. i should go get it back. i’m over street riding and dirt jumping, but i still love a good mini ramp session. one day before i die i’m going to ride a vert ramp. i swear.
BikeSnobs post from yesterday + this thread and I’m sold.
David, if your friend is looking to sell and doesn’t mind the hassle of shipping (Id pay obviously) I’m down. Otherwise I’ll find something local.
