I saw one of these once and it was very confusing at first, I couldn’t believe it was a real product!
Would be sweet to have both a normal squeeze rim brake + weird band brake on the same rim.
Edit: oh shit, and then maybe a rod brake too, acting on a totally different area of the rim!

My grandfather worked at schwinn with frank brillando designing all the weird schwinn specific parts that came on them. Dad was probably working sweeping up after people when this was built
