the list of bikes that I don’t ride, perhaps I’ll pull them down and photograph post Japan
- Endpoint HG v1 now with swept bars but hydro brake drag issues
- Co-Motion S&S CX that needs a BB replacement
- Co-Motion S&S SS that is perfect and will never let go of
- 1982 Frezoni restored steel road bike that I rescued from a trainer and ironically (?) now lives on a trainer and has done more hours/kms in the last year than all bikes combined over the last 10Y.
- Focus carbon rim brake di2 dead end bleep bloop road bike
- Landshark steel CX frame in all blue&yellow flat bar SS build
- 1980s Michalo steel ‘light tourer’ built as a randoesque setup
- Bike Friday Tikit about to be packed for Japan
- Co-Motion alu CX that lives at the other end of the country when I visit family
- 26" steel MTB frame with mid drive conversion as e-townie
- piece of absolute shit Peugeot “Country Randobike” (actual model name) that was abandoned and looked like it was worth saving and donating

Dammit.
Currently in my living room:
-SuperX…never should have bought a bike without rack/fender mounts but I love it. Gonna sell it real soon though.
-RLT…I gotta finish re building it but it’ll be my main bike this winter until _new_ new frame is done.
-Marino…favorite bike. Gravel fixie basket bike.
-Nishiki fixie…was going to sell the frame but I drunk bought some DA track hubs and some rando gave me a Cetma rack so I didn’t sell it.
-Rigid mtb…not ss anymore!
-80s mongoose ss 26er…
-salsa la raza…my partners road bike she never rides.
In my stairwell/entryway
-Sundeal…winter commute
-80s rockhopper…also winter commutes
-Polyvalent…my partner’s bike she does ride. It’s sick and I want a matchy one

Having the space to keep them, and the fact that they’re not valuable on the used market but high in nostalgia/memories etc means I have zero impetus to sell/donate them.

Bikes that departed in 2024:
1. ~1993 Specialized Crossroads Trail pink and purple 700c x 40mm hybrid (gave away to a friend for his GF)
2. ~2010 Habanero titanium 29er XC hardtail with high bb (gave away to a friend but kept the 200mm cranks)
3. Huffy BMX brakeless with track cranks abandoned by the bum that stole my Fairlight Secan in 2023 (donated to Bikeworks)
4. Dunkin Donuts tandem (donated to Bikeworks)
5. Catrike recumbent tadpole trike that @theKearney liberated from a bum ten years ago and then couldn’t find the original owner of (donated to Bikeworks)
Present day bikes that are mine and built up:
1. 26" diy tensegrity frame coaster brake cruiser with Sachs Automatic 2-speed rear and drum-dynamo front (needs IGH rebuilt)
2. 1982 ALAN Super Record road bike with a period mavic drivetrain and GEL280 tubulars
3. Swift of Theseus Folding Cycletruck (under extended loan back to @lantius)
4. ~2000 Time Equipe Helix Pro road bike with 6800
5. Orbea Katu
6. 2019 Norco Optic downcountry 29er MTB
7. Pat Sprute’s wheelie bike with banana seat, ape hangers, and wheelie bar training wheels that add even more triangles onto a GT 26" MTB frameset (needs a fork as the 9/8 threaded headset is stripped)
8. Impakt BMX Sidehack with 3x8 derailleur drivetrain
9. Hahn Rossman prototyped Raleigh Tamland disc hybrid with low trail SON SL fork and integrated bruce gordon racks
10. Mercian road bike for medium-reach brakes
11. Framework CNC filament wound carbon and 7075 gravel bike
Bikes that are mine in 2024 but not yet manifested:
1. AX-Lightness ultralight carbon rim brake road bike with Etap and carbon tubulars (still in PDX waiting for me to pick it up)
2. Marino Lefty progressive bikepacking 29er hardtail frame (waiting on rims)
3. Final new unpainted Elephant NFE frame (still at Glen’s dithering)
4. Original holstein cow NFE still assembled with all the parts on it from when I got hit in 2018 (need to unbuild it to mount on a framebuilding stand as a yard sculpture)
5. Cherry Bomb magura rim brake 700c x 45mm hybrid with track ends (may build up as a fixie?)
6. Pubes yellow Kona Dew XL frameset (almost became a trailbuilding ebike this summer before a Benno appeared)
7. unfinished tallbike frame made from steel Trek 26" MTBs
I might be forgetting something though
and there’s still two more months of catch and release ahead of us
