This bike is feeling really good rn, needs a slightly shorter stem and I’m not happy with the seat post clamp cable stop and will be brazing one onto the stays eventually. I also want to shorten the tail light mount and figure out a way to triangulate it or something so it can’t get knocked loose.

I knew I didn’t even need to tag you for you to see it.

Its a downtube from a Jamis.

She really wanted purple tires. They’re just generic beach cruiser tires. I didn’t exactly endorse those, but also didn’t fully discourage. I’ve had the same ones as whitewalls over the years on various cruisers.

Everything is stock on it still aside from tires, grips and pedals (obv), and she got some rockbros saddle which looks decent.

Pedals are Shadow Conspiracy Surface.

She’s over in SLC and I’m in Dallas so I’ve been somewhat helping remotely.

Indeed. that’s exactly why I was hunting (and will continue the search) for purple gumwall 26” GKs to break it up a little but still fulfil the purp requirement

One time I went to bike central with my brother and he asked (??? Can’t remember his name) if he had any red colored chains and I facepalmed and he said “we don’t usually stock those because they’re not up to our quality standards”

@amy what was that guys name, he drove the motorbike at the track
