Thoughts on Reynolds’ AR58X? And do you have experience on similar wheels?

I dig them. Only other carbon wheels I’ve ever owned have been tubulars and used in pretty controlled circumstances while racing.

so at least cat 3 or better? every crit I’ve been in has been inadvertently structured as an intersecting double echelon. “Hmmm yesss, I’m currently in the middle of the main bunch and I’m losing position, but what if I abruptly chopped to the inside and started sprinting?”

I mean, I got my first set of carbon tubulars when I was on my way out of the 4s. Last few seasons in the p12 where I switched between reynolds 46 and 66 wheels, depending on the course or weather.

i break my Mone dropouts free by taking the bolts off and placing my fat ass on the saddle. boom. time to adjust.

This is what it looked like when I first bought it.

Then I sold it to a friend who used it for 1.5 years and got it all shitty and rusty. Then he got the new longer slacker Mone and I bought the frame back. And got it refinished. Here it is now, featuring new garage door color:

Oh also there’s this thing that I bought from @oogens that I’m pretty sure I hate.

I would say “oh don’t mind where the hoods are, that’s gonna change” but for all i know that’s how it’s supposed to look and this is how it’s supposed to feel. 44cm bars are too narrow and road bikes are torture.
