Dammit: Post your bike

Okay, that $3000 coaster brake klunker that has 150mm of travel and can barspin is kind of cool.

I’ve got a soft spot for that copper disc brake tubing thing he did.

Clockwork probably is at least 6months right? I mean that’s fine but you’re comparing apples and oranges here so I dont know why you write what you write other than you just come off as your complaining for no reason.

Dont be a pleb, buy both? Dont buy both? What the fuck

Fuck I love carbon bikes.

cuz they are tukt? If that’s the main reason, then we have @BicyclePears to blame…

I’m all for short chainstays, but those bikes also have short handlebarstays and I like a bit more reach than those bikes seem to have… At least the El Continente does. Looking like some 1890’s velocipede

I can actually speak to carbon wheels, as I come from the future. What do you want from carbon and what drew you to Reynolds?

Now that Performance has shit the bed, what are the chances that the goofs over at GT can follow through on that half hearted reboot from 2009 or so when they were fucking around with ti bikes.

Is now the time for the original GT Tachyon to be reborn?

Can the GT brand actually add value to a brick and mortar LBS?

Crazy that you say that Braden- I recently proposed bringing the Zaskar LT (hardtail trail bike) to the US in Ti and steel form, LBS only. We’ll see if it happens. I typically only handle GT road, but I have become more vocal re: their MTB presence among LBS’s. I think GT has a lot to learn from how Marin is reestablishing themselves, and I’m optimistic.

Gt still makes road bikes? All I know of them anymore is the stuff you see at Dick’s Sporting Goods

I’d place an order.

my shop sells lots of reynolds (and Cannondale!) and I’ve had a set of ATRs that I liked. just curious to know what people outside of my echo chamber think of them as opposed to ENVE Foundation/Zipp 303s/Mavic that I’ve been on.

but now that i have you’re here… I’ll send you a dm

Oh man, I used to pine for one of these in the 90s.

God dammit read thru the fugn lines
We want adjustable rake carbon fork that could get us from responsive cross to porteuring low trail with enough zits for a wald raxk and fenders.

Put the bb drop at a reasonable 72mm and weā€ll do the fat 650b or a medium 700c at our leisure.

If you’re feeling spicy add some kind of adjustable dorpout or eccentric THREADED BSA bb for the dipshits that want to pretend that they wanted a single speed even though they just want a 1x12 or 13.

Triple triangle for those that want to reminisce about the TAF paint jobs

You’ll sell dozens, dozens
