Because if he used the naming convention that SIDI and gaerne used, the company name would have been Meth. And do you want to be riding on meth?

I haven’t p’d a b in a while. This felt like a good setting for a photo.

I sometimes have to travel for work and carry a bunch of tools and supplies along a very flat and well-maintained rail trail. Feels good to do it on a bike that’s perfectly suited for the task (and I was on the clock!).

^It makes me happy every time I see the Tarck bottles. I have the exact same set–one blue, one pink, and that pink Rapha bottle

Rob posted complete pictures of the pink bike

Accidentally’d a free super clean univega rover step through. Going to see if the wife likes it. It’s super clean and all original.

Cool bike rack!

Notice it’s not a ratchet strap. Those things are too tight. Those things are dangerous.

It’s a boat strap. The NRS ones are good and they don’t slip. They’re for a different use case than a ratchet strap. Like when you need to hold something securely but not super tight like a kayak on a roof rack etc. where as a ratchet strap is needed where something really needs to be sinched down tightly.

You don’t like denting literally everything that your straps come in contact with?

Super excited about the bike because it checks off two of my boxes. I wanted a green bike and a step through and now I don’t buy anything.

It’s a hair smaller than the other univega rover

Threw some stupid new bars on the basket bike. Wanted to go a little taller and narrower. 29" bars with a 2" rise were kind of uncomfortable since I switched to that stem and threadless adapter that have my bars a lot lower than the little ugly threadless stem I had before.

These are 28" and 4" rise and are super comfortable.

This bike rides fucking great. My stupid back doesn’t hurt at all and the bike feels bizarrely good with some stuff in the basket.

Also I finally looked up the geometry for this frame. Apparently it’s the 18" frame and probably has a reach somewhere in the realm of 425mm. For 5’5" me, it now makes sense why I like basically a mountain bike position on this bike. I feel like I could ride this all day like this.

Please do tell us, did you just chucky a stem on the threaded 9/8 steerer?

I think it’s headset spacer hiding a 9/8 quill adapter

Yeah it’s an adapter and then I put the cosmetic spacers in
