Dammit: Post your bike

I love Tune bling shit. I have these green mig/mag hubs and matchig geiles stem that I’m gonna build a bike around. Also have a set of black hubs and matching Bobo headset I need to put on something.

Yeah, somehow I accumulated a lot of their stuff too. All of my rear hubs eventually died but still have a couple of fronts going and a few stems too. All in 25 mm tho ! The stems are not light by modern standards. Mine don’t have those cut outs tho. Nice colour.

wow that stem is wild. despite not riding aggressively if even at all, i don’t know how comfortable i’d feel riding it. but it’s not even a good paperweight!

yeah, I’ve always assumed Tune parts are non-starters at my heft, but they are definitely pretty.

I want a 172.5 110bcd tune crankset

I’ve got two spiders for mine. 110 and compact. They are a pain to change, I used to unwind it using my track bike’s drivetrain. I obviously haven’t done it for a while. It transforms very cleanly from a triple to a double.

Tarck debut. Replaced my stolen modern road bike with dead-ender road bike. Still messing with the cockpit but will probably trim the steerer this weekend. Rides real nice so far.

Tune has a reputation for making ultra light components but they make everything from super durable to weight weenie. I’ve had very good success with Tune hubs.

Pretty sure to any euro weenie brand hefty is like 80-85kg+

i’m only 72kg on a real bad day :sunglasses:

Lucky you! Weenie the shit out of your bikes!

I was 80kg on a good day… 9 years ago.

I just did the conversion and I’m over 90kg now :frowning:

I’m a little under 100kg at 2m tall, and there is not a snowball’s chance in Hell I’m ever trusting a very long, ultralite stem or seatpost.

Now, a 3 gram fd clamp? oh my yes

i’m too cheap to meaningfully weenie to the point of making a real difference

this is taking me back to threads on BF 33 where people would claim to feel the weight difference between like, stock and aftermarket derailler pulleys. “much crisper acceleration now”

78kg is the best mass and anyone who is a different mass is a fucking idiot
