Here is my Jones as she currently stands. I wanted to put a Mirror saddle on it, and the sweet Erickson ti seatpost was a side clamper, and the Mirror has oval rails.

I have some Schwalbe G-One Speeds in 60 mm coming, as you can see the Runny Arses are perpetually flat (back one has a tube in it)

I wish I had a purple seatpost though

What is your saddle height?

It’s about that height, why? I don’t know in cm

I’m curious about a jones

My saddle height is ~785 - yours looks higher than that

Oh I don’t have it fully adjusted yet, I haven’t even sat on it because the tire is flat but I will let you know when I have it at the right height.

I decided sometime during quarantine that comfort was worth taking seriously. those vuori pants are MVPs. worth noting that I’m probably 165-170, heavier than I look in this photo

good stuff, thanks! I’m ok at sifting out the sales cruft from the stuff a shop blogger actually liked, it’s like a fun word puzzle!

Woah
I’d have to have more seatpost than that showing

Pretty sure you’ve blogged more Katu content than anyone else in the world.

Hadn’t ridden this in a year and a half and was reminded how fun and noodly and wonderful it is.

I was but I’m getting it back in shape because I have a vacation adventure planned that is not appropriate for my skinny bikes. I mean I guess I could do it but it wouldn’t be fun.
