That looks great!

Desire to build a clydebike intensifies, spare 20" wheels in my hoard aren’t helping.

Kinda feelin’ this lately too! Part of the dither says get a Marin Muirwoods and put a clyde on it/ part says throw the clyde on the Doublecross, but the Doublecross is in perfect commuter mode right now. I wonder if a guy would sell me just a H/G frame since I already have a Searchlight fork.
To the Dither thread!

Yeah the dither is real. I have a 1989 MB-3 frame that a clydesdale would be perfect on. I also just realized that the 1" version actually comes with the threadless headset and stem shim, making the conversion almost TOO easy.

hey you should all buy a Lorry instead, specifically my Lorry, so I can start dithering super hard on an Omnium Mini instead

1" clydes is the only real clydes. there are several ways to put it in an EC34 frame, but a 9/8" fork will not fit in an EC30 frame

Hmm, about to have a redundant hunter gatherer frame available in the near future and have been wondering what to do with it. I already have three basket bikes, so one more wouldn’t hurt, right?

I have also been dithering about a clysdale fork, my buddy has a sweet GT leaning against the shed….

This sounds like the momentum we need to get clydebikes to overtake Bullitts as the official cargo bike of tarck.

Mentioning again that I have a sparkly 1" Clydesdale that will be looking for a home at the end of the month.

I thought it already was!
Can anyone with a later version of the clyde than my V1 tell me about fender mounts and clearance? Mine has none of either and I had to gain precious millimeters at the top mount point by removing the rubber from the insulated P clamp that comprises the mount point.
Just ordered a slightly smaller IRC siren pro to replace the clapped out one that’s on there.

when did you buy yours? i need @ProCracknfailBro to confirm when mine is from since i traded forks with him. but i’m happy to look and i don’t recall much fuckery at the top with either fork i had. lots of stay bending to make a rear fender work though

Mine was from the first run whenever that was. I bought it like the second they went live on the site
I’ve seen a bunch since that have both canti and disk mounts but mine only has disk. And like I said, no mounts.
