weird!! definitely an older iteration. bummer that all the ritchey bars got heavier, but the aero tops do be feelin’ nice on the hands.

Looked cute
Been having neck issues lately, I need to dial in the fit better and fix my posture. I have a bad habit of keeping my shoulders high and tight

Is that Stone Mountain or somewhere out near Panola Mountain park?

just guessing here, but if you can level out your saddle, or point the nose up a degree or two, it might let you plant more weight on your seat. From there maybe slide the saddle forward a cm to allow for a break in your elbows?

On longer rides I have to consciously remember to relax and drop my shoulders, the hunch is an inevitable tendency when you’re in as unnatural a position as that of a cyclist.

yup, I like to a sit for a bit after riding from Decatur and around the mountain. people watching and resnacking

I slid the saddle forward a little but I’ll try adjusting the nose. I get this saddle not long ago and I think it sits a little higher than the previous so I may drop the seatpost a smidge

That’s a ride that I miss since I’ve moved out here.

In the last few years I’ve been putting my saddle lower and further back to get myself to sit more on it. Feels better to have more weight in the back.

Took the tandem out for the first time this year yesterday.

Up thread there was a discussion about 35mm tubeless and caves with half frame bags on wee bikes. The 35mm Conti tyres have been treating me well on road/gravel/singletrack, with good grip and they don’t buzz badly on road.

I like both, the SKS cages are cheap and work great with the small frame and a small Tangle.

Feels weird riding without pogies

Gotta adjust my fenders or better yet get bigger tires.

Need to do this. On the fixed gear I get a lot of weight on my hands. Fore/aft was a total guess, not getting knee pain so it can’t be that bad.

I didn’t really understand where these tires were going but this gets full approval. great work, leave the fenders as is. we’re all proud of you.

Dropper back on and new grips

What do you get out of it on that bike? I have never ridden one and I’m trying to convince myself to not take the weight hit on my newchardtail

I would have been more inclined to keep my Poseidon if it has the disc brake mount on the fork. Mine didn’t come with that.

it’s the lightest weight you’ll ever add. tbh it’s not that heavy these days anyway. makes any mtb significantly more capable

Are the sleeves a bad creaky idea for sizing?
