Made my annual pilgrimage to the Schwinn plot to pay my respects.
It lasted two days before the carbon wheels landed. Holy what a difference!
And now I have a bike arriving and I may have ordered the same wheels
What wheels again?
It hurts me to say it but I think this technically qualifies as a guyshoe
Roval seems to have a good warranty/crash replacement policy. Lifetime for defects (original owner only, else 2 years), 2 years no-questions replacement, and a discount for beyond 2 years. The sale price here is roughly the discounted replacement price 3 years in, so definitely try to ride them hard in the first 2 years

Yup. Terra C.
Since we’re only here til the 11th, we needed turnkey solutions -
I ordered the same wheels for the Polygon Path X5 I ordered yesterday as the deal was a bit too good to pass up.
But, I changed the seatpost and set up tubeless too!
Apologies Tarcklord, I will correct my ways.
I find guyshoes completely acceptable, personally.
I love that bike. It’s like the platonic ideal of a sport touring bike.
Not too sure about those cranks on there though.
It’s what I’ve got in the length I wanna run, this is all parts bin except for the saddle.
Taking donations in cool silver 175 compact or subcompact cranks.
this is a perfect bike except for the downtube shifters
They’re fine, I just rode for two hours this morning and didn’t touch them once.
downtube shifters are pretty badass atmo
tall guys running dt shifters is a flex (literally)
Folks were cleaning out the garage and unearthed my old bmx bike from when I was a kid. It’s made it home with me. Going to be sharing many bruises as I try and relearn some flatland nonsense in the near future.
My neighbor down the street has one of the new Haro Masters. I tried to pedal it, but the back end is so short that I clipped my heels. I still prefer the old setups.
Polygon Path X5 - XL. Cool little bike. Lowered the stem about 20mm and raised post a tad.
Threw on the Roval Terra C and 42mm WTB Resolutes. Added 400mm whisky alloy post and 46cm whisky alloy bars.
Just fighting the FD now. Chain line really sucks with the praxis crank.
Overall, happy.
Nice to see a normal 5-arm crankset.
