Rudy doesn’t have a life outside of tarck. This is literally all he has. Very sad.
You’re not wrong Sam.
Sick SRAM Fred derailleur.
Also that shirt came up in my memories yesterday. I miss it.
That’s a funny lookin Endpoint.
endepointent fabrication
I love this bike so much that the only thing I can say about it is that I wish the fork used bottle-cage spacing between the lowrider boss and hourglass rack mounts.
I think one of the Wolf Tooth B-rad plates would solve for this.
Just give him his money back, Braden
Shoulda bought a riv honestly
Hopefully it barspins, because those streamers would be FABU LOUS
the hourglass mount standard is spaced relative to the fork crown’s face hole, measured along the HTA (the hypotenuse of the right triangle)
the lowrider boss standard is spaced relative to the boss at the dropout, measured vertically at 90° (the opposite side of the right triangle)
the spacing between the lowrider boss and hourglass rack mounts is a dependent variable — decided arbitrarily by the forks axle-to-crown, thickness of the crown, and dropout eyelet location
I get that this is how it works (two different standard mounting point distances measured from different directions) but I just got spoiled by the bosses happening to line up that way on the NFE fork
Just add a other set of 3 pack mounts on the fork.
To be honest my only gripe with my new Bassi Hogs Back is that there isn’t the hourglass fork mount for a rando rack. Instead I have to use these stupid long 370mm struts to go all the way to the dropouts. And if I’m being honest with myself they are about 10mm too short but I can’t find anything longer in 8mm diameter.
I guess the other option is to use spacers for the 3 pack mounts so that I can mount my anything cages on top of the rando rack strut, which I may mock up.
Have someone braze some hourglasses on?
This is how I run a surly front rack and fork cages on my bikepacking bike. Valve nuts work perfectly.
Ooo that’s a lot cheaper than real spacers!
