Dammit: Post your bike

That bike screams RAD DAD!

You got fruit roll ups for the kids and sativa hybrid pre rolls for the parents in that bag?

Chainstays are ~2 inches shorter than the redline and is noticeably lighter even with the cheap build

new fork now its 17lb even.
adding a power meter and keeping to training tires made it kinda heavy

No cable stop for a rear v and no front hanger for a canti so I’m rocking a mullet setup. Might try to find a stem with a roller or a 22.2mm cable
hanger. I was going to use a xt triple but the tapered MAX seat tube needs like a 48t big ring for proper FD height.

My sad, neglected road bike that lives in Wisconsin. I’m not sure I could even ride this thing anymore. I should bring it home and sell it off. It’s a really great bike.

I think this is best of both worlds, especially if you have matching levers with adjustable cable pull

You get the stopping power and no cable hanger issues in the front, along with better pad clearance and fewer housing joints in the rear where it helps more

Semi compact steel frame is chef’s kiss

Yeah, it’s some fancy pants Columbus steel too. It rides super nice.

Thank you @jimmythefly for facilitating. Impressive pack job, good use of sweatpants for hub protection. 10/10.

Fucking around with setups now, might see how the hunter fork looks but I’m sorta into the suspension fork too?

Glad it made it ok! That bike deserves a weirder fork, atmo.

What is the HTA with a 100 mm fork, like 69°? The long fork might make it closer to modern.

feels like its 68ish with the current 130mm fork, probably about the same with the 470mm hunter fork and a 29er front, we’ll see what it looks like.

also has bolt-on cable guides with multiple unused holes so its beggin for a 27.2 external dropper.
