i currently have
boring but good enough alu hardtail trail bike
lugged steel skinny tire road bike with upright bars
steel rigid rockhopper with super chill cruiser bars
and building up a 80s trek 650b conversion
currently resisting the urge to snatch a kilo wt which are back in stock

my wife also the same hardtail as I do
and a black mountain cycles monstercross as commuter
and a Cannondale synapse

my zen group is having a hungry ghost party for Halloween and I’m going as a bike hungry ghost

I reckon I would have an e-cargo hike but for our stairs which pretty much kill me each time I drag my wifes e-bike up them. Brutal.

How do you like this? Everyone talks about newer frames with slack hta but these are so affordable now

We have a one man shop here that does custom builds and is the center of bikepacking out of the city. He could get/ ride anything and swears by his

that tracks. poor cookie monster. we are all sort of cookie monsters for bikes.

Covers all my bases perfectly. Gonna swap the Lorry out for something electrified in the near future tho.

Any chance that’s a 2018 Xtracycle you’re stripping? I’ve been on the lookout for that very specific year

I love it. Have it setup rigid and it rips. It was also extremely cheap.

Joe is a good dude but I don’t necessarily trust his judgement on bikes

Endpoint Coffee Grinder (ridden a few times a year; flat front because heath sent flatted tire or poor tape job?)

Endpoint Hunter Gatherer (daily commuter now, may go flat bars for variety/dithering soon)

Stumpjumper EVO (getting replaced by Forbidden Druid this week-ish)

Canyon Sender CFR DH bike

Transition PBJ dirty jumper

Rocky Mountain Altitude PowerPlay e-bike (need shorter crank, which will be fancy and expensive, but the bike really rips otherwise)

Giant TCX SS SLR single speed cross bike (searched for years, finally found one last year and did race it three times. Hopefully more in local series this year, though will need to size tires down for mud clearance).

Marin Alpine Trail E2 (need to sell after doing some bearing work)

After seeing y’all’s lists, the amount of ADHD rumination stress my fatbike was causing me seems adorable.

I just trashed the last bit of stuff associated with it today - a ‘high volume low pressure’ floor pump that tops out at 2 bar that I couldn’t sell for the price of a good coffee on local classifieds.

Feels good but odd, like when I sold my fixie after the accident. Like part of my brain is wondering what it should be thinking about now.
