love the bean machine

Is that a Cannondale?

Yes, apparently Cannondale made bikes for LL Bean back in the day. It’s 126 mm spaced which is a bit annoying and the fork is super narrow at the crown so I’m limited to pretty narrow tires. But it worked out because I was able to reradius these Igor fenders from 700 to 26 and they fit pretty nicely.

I don’t know wtf it is… I was looking for a 1.56 headshok stem for my SIL and that came up… Looks strangely like the stem that he has on his bike. The VRO. That variant actually works really well, but its not giving him much joy with his bikepacking cradle.

I see no reason these can’t be daisychained.

Those look like adapters to run regular bars on bikes like the Tern GSD/HSD/Vektron/one of the folders that use the Physis handlepost and Andros adjustable stems with the potential downside of making the light that sits between the stem kind of useless and not being able to easily fold it.

seems kind of interesting as just a fitting exercise to play with height/reach to decide on what real gear to buy?

Took a sick day today and went for the first (short) ride to see what I think of this thing after pulling the electric bits off. Not perfect or fast, but fun! We’ll see how my knees feel about the 1” too low saddle height because I don’t want to keep dithering on saddles or posts right now.

What’s your regular saddle height?

31” or a little higher.

I have a dropper that’s longer but it has limited angle adjustment and doesn’t give me enough nose up for the C67. It works with another saddle in the bin but that saddle is kinda mid. Tried two different Ergon saddles, neither of those worked and I’m tired of trying for now.
