I’m still hoping for ‘cagrobiek.cc’
rolls right off the tounge
Always wanted a sequoia back in the day.
I love it
Man maybe it’s because I’ve gotten one bike ride in over the past month, but I have the urge to klunk.
I will admit, landing a jump on a rigid after only riding my FS felt like a crash landing.
Was fun tho, and I’ll be doing it again soon. Forgot how much fun but also a butt kicker SS is.
Also we get the warm glow of condescension towards the bedangled
Did someone say klunker???
(I need some new glamor shots since my local frame builder added a boss for the actuation arm)
(also I know this is way too nice and hi tech but a Performance Coaster Cruiser is just a lot of fun okay)
How hard is it to out shred your ability to stop?
Well. Modulation definitely takes some practice. And I don’t run a front brake so it’s pretty easy to skid out, even with a 3” tire. So like I said on my blog last year, it makes sense to run a coaster brake on a bike that you feel really comfortable cornering on. This Stooge MK4 handles really really well, and I feel super comfortable on it. So it’s a lot of fun.
I’ve taken it down some steeps, but the steeps in Michigan are sandy ORV trails, so it’s not like modulating down a Pacific Northwest loamer. That being said Cjell Mone did the AZT and folks ride some wild stuff with coaster brakes. If you’ve got a handful of bikes I really suggest building one up.
Cool blog can u tldr 4 me
Excellent Jank Components sticker placement
are you rocking the cjell mone hub? or did you modify a shimano one yourself?
Coaster brakes are cool. But maybe not for everyone.

Ya
I did! Put a coaster brake on a bike you feel really comfortable turning at speed on.
Good eye… even I forget I put it there sometimes.
