Not so sure about the direction Schwalbe tire names are going.

Jameson’s fenders are made of cut up water bottles and duct tape.

It got to 13c today, absolutely gorgeous. Are we being lulled by fake spring before one more snowfall? Or is it a strong, early spring? Dunno. Took advantage.

PS Suomi studded tires are amazing. Bummer they don’t ship outside of the Nordics.

PSS Hoping to get at least one good multi-day bikepacking trip in this summer. Feeling strong enough early enough that I might be able to pull it off.

Beautiful bicycle. It deserves some nice metal fenders for sure.

Added more bent tubes just incase.

I’m about one full rotation of every bar on every bike I own away from getting this where I want it to be.

I’m starting to notice a pattern of flat-barred drop bar specific mtbs for aging cyclists roughly in the 38-45 range.

I guess we all wanted gravel bikes, then also were sold on having huge stupid comfy tires, then we all really wanted to try out those new swoopy bars from whatever brand at the time and then we got really fucking upright all of a sudden and we just sort of stayed there. Praise be to short top tubes and high stackers.

I’m plotting moving a bunch of stuff from one bike to the other

Not sure which swoopy bars will end up on it. Kyote, sunrise or Jones? But it looks like the dropper will work.
