2 speed coaster brakes are weird, but fun. This one came from @jimmythefly Not sure if I totally like it, but it is certainly an interesting way to ride. Hub seems a bit beefy for this frame. Would love to find a humuhumu to build up with this wheel.

That thing is so cool. I’ve hovered over the buy button on that frame so many times.
It would be an aspirational purchase for me at this stage of life though.
It’s a very springy bike - super comfortable and the paint is beautiful

Only bummer is that with fenders it only fits 25mm tires

I can fit 35s w/o fenders and 38s w/o brakes
@LASER_BEIGE I would be curious to try 650. The brakes are VO Grand Cru, so maybe it would work? Not sure how that would change the handling. Pretty sure it’s built for 700c

Feels a bit pubescent. Commuted on it this morning. Had to build it up free-wheelie as my fixed cog is only a 15 and I reckon I need an 18 for the first CX race of the year this weekend. So its dingley right now, 18/32 and 16/34.

I always thought scorchers were just what bikes were called before they passed draconian laws like “kids can’t smoke or work in factories.” But I don’t know anything and I’ll keep posting my knobby tire fixed gear bikes in @runwhatyabrung’s subreddit whenever I need validation from strangers.
