I really want this bike: http://montreal.en.craigslist.ca/bik/858315261.html
Pros:
It’s my size.
It’s black.
It’s badass.
It has a Campy Chorus group.
It’s under 400$.
Cons:
My apartment already houses 11 bikes, 6 of which are mine.
One of those is Chorus equipped road bike with similar geo.
What should I do?
buy it, build up the frame, sell the group

sorry but I only give my bikes to non-Australian strangers I meet on the Internet.

My bike-gifting criteria has been… disclosed!!! OH NO!!! I’ve been duped!
Will this be the untimely end of Jacques?
you’re asking a forum based around bikes if you should buy a pretty nice bike…you already know what you’re going to do…
What other bikes do you have?

“Well Jacques don’t you think that money would be better put aside? Y’know job security is kind of an issue right now and that could come in handy.”
-1988 Gios Compact 40th anniversary edition w. Chorus/Record
-Unidentified 70’s track bike
-CCM Polo Bike
-80’s Lejeune set up for touring
-80’s Cambio Rino road bike that’s too small for me
-Fiori single speed cross bike/winter messenging fixy
-Norco Sasquatch
do it. nothing better than keeping bikes rotating through the stable, if you do it right you can get some extra dough parting stuff out and by cleaning up good deals. also if something happens to a bike you’ll probably be less attached to it.

no way, bikes are a solid investment right now. Just make sure to sell them for gold/ barter them for food.
