I haven’t checked 90s mtb geo, isn’t the BB drop significantly different? Are they more like cross bikes?

The brakes were the limitation atmo. Once disc brakes proliferated to tarmac, bikes were freed from their skinny tire bondage.
I think we talked about this somewhere but I saw an ad in the subway the other day promoting GRAVEL RUNNING. Something about fun beginning where pavement ends. It was profoundly cringe.

I just bought the Salomon gravel running shoes because they are so tall they match my walking boot. The left shoe is really comfy, I haven’t even tried on the right.
Instead of creating a campaign about how versatile the Domane can be, right now a marketer is writing an angry email to the engineers ordering them to reduce the tire clearance on new models.
