i used to feel like one with my chrome bag.
not many have reload here yet.
austin behind the times.
track bike just not get popular…or rather.
shitty conversions just now get popular here.
i feel like one every time i slip my key that’s on stretchy thing on my arm.
my pink track bike does it too.
and my cycling cap.
my double straps.
my cinelli 2a stem.
my short shorts.
when i had moustache that too.
i don’t really care though.
i’m a really strong rider and they asked me if i wanted to be a messenger (2 or 3 times). lol.

why do you really give a shit what other people think. i can’t really imagine houston is a hotbed for bike messengers and you know what, if they talk shit about you then tell them they’re posengers for not messengering in a real city. also, why not just wake up early and ride to school, it might suck at first, but with gas prices the way they are why not ride for free. if you really want people to give you some looks or not be friends with you, just rollerblade between classes.

real city? houston has alot of big energy companies, as well as a bunch of other companies. we also have one of the best medical centers in the nation. we have more messengers than austin, from what a couple of them tell me. my dad’s a carrier and used to hand off packages to them all the time when he didn’t feel like parking. courier service is pretty in demand here. but that’s besides the point. everything else i addressed in earlier posts. i’m not trying to make my commute a big deal.
i put on for my city, on-on for my city…

i get the feeling sometimes too, but then i think about it and i realized i’m just wearing practical clothes for the weather and the bike (shorts, hat, tshirt, bag). there really is no messenger “style,” or at least there didn’t use to be. it was always about practicality.

houston’s pretty big actually. sixth largest in the nation. oh wait i forgot nyc is the only true city
