Denham: Greetings from Zipp. How may I help you?
Todd: I am trying to remove some decals off my front 808 tubular track wheel.
Todd: Do you have a recommended cleaner for removing the goop left over?
Denham: one moment please
Todd: Thanks!
Denham: Decal Removal - If your decals are adhesive and not molded in, you can use a hair dryer to soften the glue, grab a corner and gently pull off, scrape the remainder off with your nails or a blunt popsicle stick, clean well with acetone or white spirits, allow to evaporate and apply the new decals.
Todd: Thanks!
Todd: Have a great day!
Denham: you are most welcome
Denham: U2 - bye

indian with a book

wouldn’t dare put acetone or white spirits on carbons.

what the shit is a whitespirit

naptha

doug will tell you all about the damage the whitespirits can bring

I’ve used acetone to get tubular glue off of zipps before coz they told me it’s kosher.

exactly plus i have it exactly what i was told to do by the manufacture so if they wrong its on them, not me.
