Gran Compe hubs

Dear people whom I argued with in the past,

I held a pair of Gran Compes in my hands at the shop and examined them.

I’m now almost positive they’re just re-badged Formulas with better hardware and no flange cutout.

To those who weren’t there for the 4 or so page argument, disregard.

haha I think I leaned that way.

Trons was really adamant about them being Formula…

I’ll have to look again but they may even have the exact same stock bearings.

dude, everyone knows its just about the labels anyway. if we made big wheels and stamped them NJS half the guys on this forum and most on brian.net would ride em. AEROSPOK FRONT!!

NJS fetishism peaked around '06/'07.

Not that it matters, but I think formulas are rebadged Dia Compe hubs instead. It makes a whole lot more sense that way.

Seriously. Dia Compe is one of those companies that makes everything for everyone.

i missed the initial argument, but I was under the impression the gran compe hubs were supposed to be the same as the suzue promax.

Yeah, I thought so too but doubt it now.

meh, oh well
