That was at the $285 price. $160 isn’t bad if you actually used those on a velodrome. I can’t imagine daily riding a 580+gram 42mm deep rim

They look like sails to me. I hate riding down hills fast and catching a crosswind with 30mm rims.

Ever think you might be what is catching the crosswind, and not an extra 10mm of rim?
Besides it’s been proven that crosswinds + aero parts help you go faster. This is especially true with a disc.

deep v’s aren’t so bad with the crosswinds. you don’t know bad until you’ve ridden a HED3 on the street…
p.s. fuck, i really hope they come out with a tubular version of this… white tubular hplusson rims on my concept = win…

ps. the formation face rims are also welded joint. leaving a seamless smooth surface.
