Went to a town called Saltsjöbaden, to the western-most point that I could reach. Tried to get to an old gun emplacement monument, but couldn’t figure out how to get to it without walking through people’s yards, kind of a bummer - looks like it might be accessible only by boat?
Anyway, got a nice early sunset shot.
Which is actually fine right
It was pretty late, if it was around noon I’d have asked around
I mean can’t you kinda just walk across people’s yards without too much concern because scandinavia?
Nah, ‘Allemansrätten’ is pretty explicit about not being a dick about things. It’s mostly about hiking and camping in wide open spaces, but you can’t, for example, pitch a tent within the sight line from someone’s home, you have to clean up after yourselves and only stay one night. Stuff like that.
Also, there’s specific stuff about not wandering through people’s yards close to their homes called ‘hemfridszonen’, so it has limits. People are allowed to have ‘no trespassing’ and fences and off-limits areas, and you will get in trouble if you cross those.
Multiples is weird
Friend bought this new Brodie so I took out the ol Rawland yesterday for the first time in ~6 months. Had a blast riding a fast bike for once and liked it so much I rode it to work today.
rawland good.
Yeah that thing is stupendous!
It’s pretty fucked up, the previous owner definitely crashed it at least once. So even though it still rides well I am a little scared it’s gonna fall apart underneath me (which isn’t out of question for even non-crashed Rawlands!). But that Lyon fork is the most gorgeous fork i have ever seen and that alone is enough for me to keep it around.
