rear brake only for sweet skidzzz. except not 'cause no leverage from MTB levers.
those bars look like they’re just wrapped with electrical tape for grips?

Goodness, that’s certainly an innovative handlebar arrangement.

Smiley. He’s their fitter and top sales bro.
Pretty sure I have not once, ever, seen a Rodriguez I’ve liked.
They’re all just absolutely awful, and combine the worst elements of component selection, handlebar setup, mid-to-late 1990s cycling trends, and a general misunderstanding of physiology. Basically, if there’s a single component that everyone on Tarck agrees is awful (ridiculous ergo bend bars that are like 32cm wide, SRAM Apex, 140mm long Sugino triples, paired spoke wheels), then they’re probably being installed on a Rodriguez as we speak. The worst part is, when you walk into the store and look at the floor bikes, they’re usually hybrid beasts built of mis-matched used components, and sold for as much as a decent carbon bike with 105 or even Ultegra. They also have a weird bone with Shimano and basically refuse to sell their vastly superior components.
This is actually one of the least offensive bikes I’ve seen from them
they really love doing custom builds with bottom-barrel Campy 9 speed and J&B cranks + cockpit
they also import Vredestien and Serfas shitbox tires by the containerload for super cheap so they put them on everything
needs a wald basket
every time I’ve seen that thing it’s had studded Nokians on it
massive toe overlap thanks to the t-rex fit and stupidly steep HTA (yes it’s actually steeper than the STA)
I’m pretty sure the wheel still hits the DT under compression despite the mitering shenanigans
not that you’d stay upright once the HTA goes north of 76°
