With regard to the udh dropout, has anyone made a beefier tail hook for the old/campy style?
Are there spare tire racks that mount to the bolt interface?
Yes, I have a Yakima that does that.
Not my rack but you get the idea. Bolt plate goes behind the wheel and the square spigot sticks out thru the center of the wheel, rack tightens to it against the tire.
Custom 1UP adapter made by some Bronco dude. I can’t find if it was ever made into a for-sale product.

I had two padded sticks that bolted through the bolt holes on the back of dads isuzu trooper. worked fine, got them from a garage sale and have never seen another set.
Unrelated but does anyone else get weird spammy results using google image search? Like I’ll find these images of cool racks then click and get totally redirected to some other random ass site? Very odd and has been happening more lately, especially for anything that’s a consumer product.

I feel like this is probably cheaper than a whole ass hitch mounted to the frame
Looks like a couple companies offer little mounts that include the extended nuts needed for mounting the tire and then bolting on a plate.

Ok so I have a (500km?) review of my complicated drivetrain
Equipment is as follows:
48/35 oval rotor rings (not axs)
12sp Shimano xtr/da chain
Ztto 11-34? 12sp Shimano cassette
SRAM rival D1 pusher and dangler
Axs does not like oval rings
Shimano chain isn’t laterally stiff enough for the sram dangler, it’s often on the wrong cog and I have to up shift down shift to stop it from clicking.
I just ordered some round rings
Not sure if I will swap with a sram chain

My buddy with the litespeed coffee table just built up a new bike to replace the one he incinerated in his shed along with the Yamaha R1 and the Audi S4. He got full sram red electric 1x 12 speed but he cheaped out with a Goldix? Cassette. It shifts like poo in the small cogs. Hes gonna have to change it I think.
Everything ok at home? That sounds challenging

The intent was to figure out if I could use sram shifty stuff and shimano consumables.
The ztto cassette was from years ago and I just hadn’t done anything with it. I don’t see any wear there and it seems ok.
I guess I’m just kind of mad at the shimano chain turning into a gummy o so quickly
