My uberbeater has a 27" front and a 700c rear cause I found the front in the trash.
For a while I was using one front wheel on 3 different bikes, but that was because I didnt want to change the tube in my other fronts, and its way easier to just walk around with a front wheel, or pop it off and lock it up instead of having to leave a wheel unlocked.
im rockin a spraybombed wheelset on my conversion. hella tarck
i have a all black nonmachined rear veep. for the front i have a black machined veep but i hate how it looks so i’m gonna strip the paint and polish it. so i’ll have a polished front veep and black rear veep. i think i’ll like how it looks
are you going to remove the spokes?
it was on the rear but i got the rear re-laced to the non machined veep. i have a cheap Alex rim in the front at the moment. it’s not laced to anything at the moment, i haven’t decided what hub i wanna run in the front
werd. i should paint strip my wheels. i never thought of that
i am now rocking a sunrims to formula in the back with a yellow zaffiro…
and an 80s roval road front hub, 16h tubular with bladed, radial, straight-gage spokes and a gum-sidewall conti 700x20 tire.
pretttttty mismatched.
go ahead, tarckbike, one-up me with a 48h tandem wheel / zipp disc combo. or a corima 4spoke / mtb tension disc combo.
deep v in the back, ksyrium equipe front.
strength in the back where i need it, and light weight in the front.
mismatched road rims are the new aerospoke.
I don’t like the look of radial lacing, but I’ll run mismatched tires.
