so was the Dolan… but this belongs to Kabush. All the ergo hate just has to stop.
the ergo hate will cease only when the last ones make it out of a nashbar warehouse’s sub-basement and get melted down into slag with the rest, ushering in a golden age of cycling

at least the levers are placed properly on that one, but what kind of brain parasite is inspiring you people to rotate your bars up 20° into derp mode?

how do these compare favorably to a Cinelli 64 or Deda 215 Shallow? even if they were deeper normally, rotating them up cancels that out and renders the drops+hooks are almost entirely inaccessible and braking from anywhere but the hoods impossible

seriously what is going on in your head, I am very confused by your DERP LOVE but am here to help
I don’t ride the ergos myself anymore now that 3T came up with better solution but they still win out over 215, newtons, and all the Cinelli/Nitto tomfoolery. Can’t stand a bar where the hook curves up to the shifter in a way that does not even come close to matching the shape of a hand. The only way to get something that resembles a decent transition between top and hood is to roll them up to a jackass level that then cuts the usable positions in the drops in half. Plus they all look like complete ass with anything except campy 10 or 11. Yes even on your bike.

wat, these are fucking perfect (another example, oogenssssss’ ritchey sex machine)

top of hoods and rack platform are level, everything else slopes up

that is unless you’re one of those flatramp nutbars that insists on there being only one hand position up there instead of two

and I challenge you to find a bar where the hook curves up to the shifter in a way that comes any closer to matching the shape of a hand

Kabush and all crossers get a pass because nobody really uses the drops in cross anyway

Ergo bends suck. The hooks are useless unless you have tiny hands like Cav. Rotundo, ritchey classic, Newton rounds (love the deep drop).

There is a special hell for bendy ergos and saddles with cutouts.

sorry guys. feels good man.

^^ WTF is that

To each their own… that shit look uggo to me

THAT looks worse than Ergo drops pointed at the sky with the hoods jacked up so high they’re about 6 inches above level with the stem clamp?

Seriously???

I’m not going to compare Fred’s fred bars to every ergo out there but I think they look bad atmo.

Modern ergos give me all of it… 2 HAND FILLING positions in the drops, flat ramp, hood, and a nice pistol grip out on the tip of the hood.

The only round bars I have seen consistently work well with modern brifters were the EC90 Equipes that you can’t get anymore.

somehow the shape of those hoods sorta resemble the shape of my long balls

itt everybody posts their terrible bars/hoods arrangements

Move this dumb shit off the newguy thrad, hosers. This is here to chew up new guys not to bang your wangers over bar rotation.

Sides everyone knows real men ride mountain bike bars.

true on so many counts.

^I don’t think most people here would consider those “ergos”. Setup looks pretty good to me.

Tilted up ergo bars as run by Cav in those pictures are derpville.

Even the worst offender Tom Boonen has come to his senses.

suck my long balls.
