i’m gonna internet detective you too
I’m Roxy. I ride a 1983 Specialized Stumpjumper Sport.

Good saddle angle, good fit, decent rack, appropriate saddle to bar ratio, but I can’t help but wonder what you’re distracting me from with that dog. Tight pant? Possible questionable fender line?
I’ve got my eye on you.

You ride pretty much the same bike as me, so nice bike.
Okay, I’m going to say it, I own a 84’ Stuntjumper and it is a terrible bike. The chainstays are about as long as an xtracycle and it has tons of wheel flop. They managed to get the front AND rear geometry way way off.
rides w/dog + evisus = toast’s long lost cousin?
fun story about those chainstays – with the original 48-38-28 XP crankset and a re-spaced rear triangle for a king hub and 9s 12-34 cassette, the sram chain i bought wasn’t long enough to wrap around the big-big combo (without a rear derailleur). so i bought a shimano one with a few more links, and installed it at full length.
The small sizes are where he magic happens because they fucked up or something and made the top tubes super fucking long. Perfect for small people with long torsos and short legs like myself. The larger sizes don’t have proportionally longer top tubes relative to the seatubes, iirc.

i was tempted to resurrect the thread just to reply to something someone said in it but i thought that was too much[/quote]
Haha, busted.
Well, I don’t like it either, but as long as the Indonesians do it pays for my new rides.
lol
