I had the 1.0 mods done by a local guy here in Seattle and hit Surly up for decals in March. I guess Surly liked these mods because they released a version of the Karate Monkey with them later this year at Interbike - but in green - and called it the Ogre. It’s probably just a coincidence. I guess they liked my color pick too because they also released this years KM in it - but I’m sure that’s a coincidence too. Go Surly.
My 2.0 version of the Bad Monkey (that I’m working on finishing up now) has internal dynamo wiring and some other ridiculous shit that only bike nerds would ever consider wasting hard earned cash on.
