parts you consistently break.

ive pulled some threads out, but honestly i think they were just cheap parts. i have a hard time believing i am just too powerful. same with when i cracked a crank arm, i doubt it was my wattage doing the breaking.

only thing i’ve really ever broken on my bike is a toe clip. so i guess toe clips?

also my headset gets dirty a lot and i have to clean it more often then i’d care for. does that count?

Seriously.

Bear bear bear’s answer was the best.

And I don’t break stuff. I’m civilized.

Spokes, I’ve a bad habit of shifting chain into spokes.

Do you people outside of New England call them baby heads?

I had a bad run with rims a couple of years ago. I severely dented the sidewalls of a couple of fusions, at least one aerohead and an open pro, and put a screw through another open pro. Almost all of those were related to really sharp-edged potholes that I didn’t see in time, leading to instant pinch flats. I also overtensioned some old wolber rims, leading to cracking at the eyelets. Besides that, just normal component wear nowadays.

I don’t understand how the OP can bend cranks so easily.

I break toe clips and toe straps constantly.

2 much fixie skidzzzz

Also lots of straps/clips. I had a year where I broke like 3 chains for some reason, which sucked.

bmx: i bend a lot of handebars.

road: seats.

We call them baby heads in Kansas and in Oklahoma too. At a race earlier
this year that was put on by non bikers we were routed over about 1/2 mile
of endless baby heads. Didn’t break anything but, it tested my will to
continue.

WTF are baby heads? Rocks?
