Portland Bike Rental?

Sorry to be obnoxious and start a new thread, but I’m a bit down to the wire here.

I am heading to Portland today until Monday. I’d originally planned to borrow a friend of a friend’s bike to do a few rides, but it looks like that might fall though, so now I’m thinking I might try to rent something, at least for a day or two. Do any of you Portlanders know of a bike shop that rents road bikes… for reasonable prices? I searched and found lots of places that do hybrids, and one that does mountain bikes, but no roadies that I can see.

Thank you!

Waterfront Cycles I believe.

You can actually get a pretty nice frame made at one of the framebuilding carts in Alberta while you’re waiting for your poutine.

down for that as long as they put poutine in the tubes
so if get hungry on a ride i can just take out my seat
and have a little snack

i might have your back on a hufnagel

The grease has excellent frame protection properties.

i guess that could work
as long as it’s zelahs bike that you resize to fit me

i got a steamroller set up townie/SS style 49x16 right now. you could borrow that ifn you want. its of the 56ish sizeway. stem is slamt and i can put rizers or a 17t cog/LR on there if you want a sw8 fixie.

Make sure you don’t clean the raw denim stains on the saddle. He’s been working on those for a while and they’re just about perfect now.

let me ask jim if i should ride a steamroller

Veloce on Hawthorne rents roadies. A buddy of mine rented a Masi w/ rival when he was in town.

you could borrow my single speed. its got fenders and wide riser bars so accommodates pretty much any size person. you could probably borrow the falcon instead, but depends on how long youre gonna be here since i imagine the weather will be iffy and i might wanna do some rainy road riding.

also w ehave a carbon tt bike we never use if u wanna borrow that for cat 6ing
