schwinn cutter.

$299?!
i think this thing (however heavy it may be) is freakin sweet:

linky

Another? I’m making a Cutter sticker for my bike.

it looks nice for the money.

volume cutter sounds bad for business.
at least there isn’t a profit cutter.

It’s like an off the shelf beater.

Which isn’t a bad thing.

Uh oh. Bikes Direct is gonna have to drop some prices.

God those bars are awful. They make the bike look sickly and malnourished. Cheapo 90s Walmart mountain bike bars. Also looks like Schwinn super deluxe cheaped out on the brake calipers too.

brake guides are temporary… this bike, if you witch up a few things, looks real nice for 300 bones

what’s a cutter?

I was talking about the calipers. Nutted with no quick release? Who does that anymore?

And the cranks look pretty damned janky. BikesDirect did the cheap SSFG thing already and they did it shit tons better than this. For your $300-$350 budget, they’d definitely be the way to go. But I guess I gotta give Schwinn some credit for trying to get some money out of this fixed gear craze.

i know what you were talking about. my comment was independent of what you said. sorry for the confusion.

Ah, no problem. It’s a nice looking bike, I guess. I just think that money could be spent on something a little bit better.

are they sold at wal-mart?

i mean, my local schwinn dealer?

Nah. I think we’ll see places like Academy or Sports Authority do it first.

From the movie, a townie in a college town that didn’t go to college after high school.

i was under the impression it was because of the quarries. as in being stone cutters

tempting and damn cheap

Oh. . . I suppose those guys certainly didn’t go to college. And his dad did embrace the term at the end.
