Wth: decent crash on the way to work yesterday. Coming down a hill a fibre optic cable or similar got tangled up in my front wheel. Came down pretty hard on my right hip and head. Cracked helmet, smashed glasses, right arm copped some grazing from hitting my right shake, which got shoved inwards pretty hard. Took me a while to regain my composure: I landed in a tangled heap in the middle of an intersection and some arsehole was honking for me to get out of the way.
Hy: could’ve been much worse, lucky no cars were coming the other way.
Hy: 2 days off work, my boss insisted.
Wth: now sitting in urgent care, need to get checked cos boss logged it in the work HR system because I was on the way to work.
Hy: alive and kicking.

Edited for more realistic approach: I would take extra long to get up like a career soccer/actual football professional trying to run the clock out on a match.
Whether or not it makes you feel better, I ate shit in the middle of a busy intersection here once because I had those dumbass pd-324 pedals and my Grant-approved Tevas slipped off. I don’t think anybody honked at me but 4 directions of drivers all just kinda stared at me as I picked myself up and shuffled over to the curb. Glad you are getting checked out!

I’ve got a similar Rex, cool bike but the clear coat on the carbon is awful. Looks like that fb one is starting to flake? Not as bad as mine tho
