went to the vans shop in london, i guess they’re one of the bigger stores, as i would imagine. they are getting a shipment in later this month. they were told august but didnt come in the first shipment of august.

Am I in the right forum? I thought this was a bike forum… what the fuck is with these flat-soled shit shoes? Get some SPDs and Shimano sneakers and clip in. Your strokes are better this way. Who doesn’t want a better stroke?
I’m pretty sure most of the people here have clipless systems, they are just looking for shoes that are a bit more versatile. Clipless is also not a good idea for those of us riding brakeless.
Clipless and brakeless is perfectly fine. I mean, as fine as brakeless can be, which is not-fine-at-all.
It seems like some of you guys are becoming the very thing you jest about. Those of you riding brakeless on anything but a velodrome or salt flats are retarded. Also, flat-footed shoes promote a terrible pedaling geometry and will strain many of the tendons on the underside of your foot. In bicycling, function trumps fashion and form always. All the rest is tarck.
