I’ve no doubt that decent hardware stores carry this stuff. The big chains are hit or miss, though. I order socket cap screws in bulk quantities for motorcycle stuff because I can’t find them reliably around here. Obviously, this is a topic I have some emotional issues around, I’m working on it in therapy. Hardware stores are the bane of my existence. If I needed a single part and knew exactly what I wanted, I’d pay the $10-15 to order it from McMaster rather than having to drive around to look for it.
