Yeah, it’s an expensive-ass frame, but… it’s your dream. YOUR DREAM. Get a paper route and get up at 4:30am every morning delivering papers for an extra thousand dollars a year. IT’S YOUR DREAM! It requires some work.
I get the attention to detail and craftsmanship thing, but considering you can get a frame 95% as good in a few months for less than half the money it doesn’t seem worth it.
For $4K I would much rather have a nice acoustic guitar built to my specs.
