I have no photos but I started cleaning up the garage a bit and I have so much shit I’ll never use again. None of it is really worth selling. Probably going to just take it all to recycled and take what I can get in credit.
Last time I made a coop run they didn’t know what to do with themselves lol.
Where does this junk even come from?
I need to load up the Bullitt and do another one!
I need to do this.
I’m perpetually in the middle of the great garage purge and organizing dance. I could easily get rid of half the stuff in here and only miss one or two things. Sometimes those one or two things I was planning on getting rid of came in so clutch tho.
Nice before pics, can’t wait to see the after. #coronacleaning
Here’s some of my ‘before’
The way I get the most done is to set a timer for any amount of time, an hour, 10 minutes, whatever, and just attack it till my timer goes off and then force myself to stop. Then I’ll usually sit in the garage and smoke a joint while admiring my progress and think of what I want to do the next day.
Sometimes this leads to big rearranging projects that’ll go till 2am. Then I’m burnt out on organizing for like a week which is why I try to keep to the set time on my timer.
My workshop is now also my WFH office and my home gym. This will reveal itself to be both good and bad, I’m sure. So far, mostly good. It’s nice working out during meetings. It’s nice having a good laptop on the bench while wrenching. It’s nice closing the door for actual work.
I have to clean up to switch from mode to mode, which is probably good but I hate it so far.
tarck- what will allow me to approximate this pivot, but easily lock in place without dicking around with adjusting fasteners. will probably involve a pin as a hard stop for adjustment down.
i want my stand to swing down from the ceiling, then swing back up and out of the way. still will keep the floor part for occasional travel need so being removable without too much fanfare is good. but that’s only like, a few times a year if thst
Nothing to offer but hearted for the saddle
Have I already asked you what year your beetle is? Hey, what year is your beetle?
first piece of vandalism we encountered after launching the bike share in philly. hung above my old workbench there until someone (not in our company) got upset about it, so then “dickseat” came home with me
It’s a friend’s and the title is for a 65, some of the car is a 65 as well.
Sick, I thought it was pre-super but you rarely see those in a baja build.
I wanna build a super Baja.
I used to think Bajas were kinda lame but after having owned a beetle I realize it’s probably the most functional the car will ever be. And they look badass.
It’s so awesome. It’s just got a dual port 1600 with a progressive carb in it now, which I killed by running it out of oil. We might swap a subie in it, but probably just throw in a type4 with a single carb.
With some more power it would be the most fun I’ve ever had in a car with my pants on. Schralping berms on Grizzly Peak is so awesome.
