The keen eyed observer will notice a person kite surfing out there!
This weather is so weird. It’s T-shirt warm but the light and the sky still look all wintery. It’s real disconcerting.

What’s winter? I think it’s been fall here for five months now.
It snowed here the other night, like big snow flakes all comin down fast. I got real excited about having a snow day and riding my bike around the park but when I woke up it was just another drizzly morning, no snow stuck to the ground 
just in time for me to come to town for the big ski race! we skied up through wirth park to the venue today. i THINK if i do that tomorrow for the actual ski race, i get free Darn Tough socks

I know it’s always a laugh posting about winter riding in Texas but I have lost about 30 pounds since last winter (when I wasn’t biking much) and oh my lord I am freezing my balls off this winter. Part of it is being Texified certainly but my personal RealFeel is like 10-15 degrees low right now.
I’d post the Ice Bastard again but it’s the same except I have given up on the rabbit ear brake levers.
Question: does tire milk even work below 20 degrees? I’m due to top off one set of tires but it seems like a waste just pouring more on the layer of frozen crud that’s already there.
No idea. Does it freeze? Should I add antifreeze to my tires?
Stan’s works at very low temps. I did a 10 degree ride last winter and didn’t have any problems. And it was after a 1-hour drive in single digits with the bike on the roof.
I read somewhere (probably here) that Orange Seal freezes but I haven’t experienced that.
This just got posted in my local Discord… I can’t wait to get up to Marquette next month to ride.
