Lollin at the “extreme conditions” followed by video of a guy pushing a bike up a paved road. Going outside when it is cold is extreme too if you’re in swim trunks. Iceland is basically made for fat bikes. Still cool for the yolo.
When i was hiking in iceland a few years ago, we saw a couple hambikes cross our path. We were fording an ice-cold river (maybe 2’ deep and 20’ wide) and the two hambikers built up some speed and just rode across. We all cheered.
Yeah, their choices were pretty silly. Even the moto dudes that did interior routs complained about the roads, I would never want to do them on cross tires. They are lucky they didnt starve out there.
