I feel like I had a set of mustache bars once, or maybe I just rode someone else’s once… Either way, used them enough to know that they sucked.
Iirc I bought a set from heath, sold them to someone else here, bought them back when i was convinced that I did something wrong to hate them, then sold them to someone here again.

No, I bought a pair and hated them then tossed them into the bin of bike shit i just told myself I’d get rid of

My first full suspension mountain bike - a 2012 giant reign I got on ep. Thought I was terrible at climbing - I was but this bike didn’t help. The Kona process I got to replace it felt like such a step up in fun. This bike took me a lot of places and got me into MTB though, so I love it but never want another (also tried a trance a year later and the next generation of reign after that and I’m convinced I hate maestro link)
Also had this rocky mountain that i sold after maybe 2 rides because it climbed like ass and was a nervous descender. Don’t think I’ve tried a rocky mountain that really did anything for me

facts. i had a cross bike that was a little small for me. bad bike. i had a low end 29er that was the right size for me. bad bike.
Everyone I talked to that had an Altitude said they wished they had gone with the Instinct.
Wow interesting. I like the idea of Rocky Mountain but don’t have much experience with them.
Starting to hate brakeless. On the fixed and bmx. Didn’t know the collective had hydros, so the fixed will probably get a front brake.
Have you seen the stuff TJ Henderson is doing with Magura hydro brakes on BMX?
