Late 80’s or early 90’s black Cannondale Criterium 2.8, slightly smaller than my size (there would be probably about 8/9 inches of seat post, and would maybe need a 120mm stem), with FULL 105 group (hubs too, if I remember correctly) in mint condition, like 7/10, all for…
$250
I’ve wanted one of these for years now. It’s a 56, which in Cannondale terms it fits like a 58cm. 60 is my perfect size but am totally comfy on a 58. Fuck.

I thought a 7 out of 10 would be considered mint. I never got those silly rating system.
Paint chips, scratches and just a tad dirty for being used occasionally for 20 years it seams. Everything works though.
Didn’t you ever read Beckett’s as an adolescent?
I was going through my baseball cards a few years ago to price everything. I’m going to be doing pretty well for myself when I decide to finally sell my collection.
I shoulda kept all that stuff… I don’t think I had anything super-spectacular, but it’d be nice to at least get something for the crap I collected as a child.

My mom found my baseball cards about a month ago and brought them to me. I have a stack of unopened fleer packs from 1990 and a few complete sets. I’ve got a few other valuable cards too, I bet the whole collection is worth quite a bit. I’m thinking of selling the lot and investing the money elsewhere.
When I was a kid my pa was looking thru his ma’s basement and found a bunch of nolan ryan rookie cards in mint condition. Most are sold but a few are sitting in a safe deposit box at the bank.
I also have a handful of unopened full boxes of packs. The kinds of boxes the store would have with some little cardboard display on them. My late grandfather ran a liquor distro store in PA so he gave me a box a year for a bit. Mostly early 90s. Still in the original shrink wrap.
